Version information for individual software components is available in the Component versions section. iPhone and iOS support This release adds: Support for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Kobiton-managed passcodes for devices running iOS 27. Hosting iOS 12-14 devices Apple’s recent releases of iOS 27, macOS 27, and Xcode 27 introduce compatibility considerations for Kobiton device labs. If your device lab includes devices running iOS 12, 13, or 14, please contact Kobiton support for installation and configuration information. Appium Inspector Appium Inspector in Session Explorer now shows the correct XML hierarchy for each step of iPad automation sessions started without an app, such as a web session in Safari. This matches the behavior on iPhone and Android. Previously, these sessions showed the same hierarchy for every step. iOS system alerts in automation sessions Automation sessions on iOS and iPadOS can now interact with system alerts, such as the alert that asks you to turn on Location Services. Scripts can locate the alert button, read its displayed and enabled properties, and click it. Previously, these commands could fail with a No active application elements error. Java 17 support for generated Appium scripts Appium scripts generated for Java now use Java 17, Appium Java client 10.x, and Selenium 4 for compatibility with current Java frameworks. JDK 17 or later is required to build and run newly generated Java Appium scripts. Scripts generated from test cases created before this release do not support Java 17. To use Java 17, you will need to create a new test case.
